A Roman blown glass flask with a beautiful blue-green colouring. The flask has a flat, disc-shaped body and a wide, short neck that has been tooled in at the base. The flask culminates in a flat, rolled rim lip. There is striking iridescence scattered across the surface of the vessel.

Provenance: Collection of Rabbi Herbert Friedman, NYC. Collected in the 1960’s in Israel. Thence, to family by descent.
