A large and important grey schist carved torso of Maitreya, depicted surrounded by a halo and wearing a dhoti in gracefully draped thin pleats. A shawl, similarly folded, elegantly hangs around his left arm. The muscular torso is adorned with elaborately crafted, beaded necklaces and amulets.
